Ms. Klára Grunsberg

Having graduated from Charles University in 2001, Ms. Grunsberg has extensive experience with educational start-ups. She is the co-founder of such schools as the Christian International School of Prague and some other Preschools in Prague.

Ms. Grunsberg leads and coordinates our Czech Programme ensuring that the pupils master the Czech Curriculum Framework component of our scheme of work. As special pedagog, she cordinates educational program for children with needs.

As Head of Preschool, Ms Grunsberg hires and manages teachers and other members of staff and is in charge of student enrolments. Ms. Grunsberg is also responsible for the School’s financial planning, mentoring and marketing.

Mr. Michal Günsberger

Managing Director

Holding a master’s degree in Hospitalty Management, Mr. Günsberger is a certified specialist in Hygienic Strategy in Hospitality & Education Industries. As Managing Director, he is responsible for the development and management of all the school property and contracts.

Mr. Günsberger M.S. is in charge of our school’s Health & Safety and nutrition. He also organises outdoor activities for our children, summer camps, field trips, parties, fairs and other events.

Ms. Elizabeth Polak

Professional Education Consultant

Ms. Polak holds a degree in Education and has many years of teaching experience both in Prague and the US. She has always had an affinity for small children and enjoys getting to know them, so she can help them learn in a way that is natural and fun.

As Director of English Studies, Ms Polak oversees the day-to-day operations.

Ms. Soňa Podsedníková

Professional Education Consultant

Ms. Podsedníková is a fully qualified preschool teacher and speech assistant with many years experience. She completed her bachelor's degree with honors. Her practicum focused on teaching children with different mother tongues and how that impacts children learning within the Czech curriculum. Her teaching methodology gives room for learning through creativity and playfulness.

She has many years experience as a nursery teacher, a teacher for older children with special needs, and also as a caregiver for seniors and people with disabilities. She holds a number of certificates from various courses, including the Red Cross - First Aid for Infants and Children, the Technique for Care for People with Disabilities, and certification of Charity and Social Care.

Ms. Podsedníková leads and coordinates our Czech Programme ensuring that the pupils master the Czech Curriculum Framework component of our scheme of work.

Ms. Nancy Kever

Professional Education Consultant

Ms. Kever holds a degree in Education from the University of Akron, Ohio. She has extensive teaching experience in the US and in Europe. She has worked for Riverside in Prague where she taught Phonics, English, Literacy, Religion, Social Studies and Mathematics according to the National Curriculum of England and Wales. Ms. Kever well knows of the specificities and challenges of bilingual education and ready to share her knowledge with us. Her input in the continuous professional development of our teachers is a more than valuable contribution.

Ms. Olga Krizek

Professional Education Consultant

Ms. Krizek is a graduate of the University of Brighton and the University of Plymouth. They specialise her in both psychology and counselling. She is a Specialist Language Teacher and Class Teacher in London. Ms. Krizek’s contribution to our team will help us address the developmental needs of all pupils and deliver a comprehensive school program encouraging all student’s academic, personal and social development.
