PRESCHOOL PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES

Research proves that all pre-schoolers benefit from a language-rich environment that promotes speech and early literacy. Also, active play allows children to explore their surroundings, learn important social concepts such as turn-taking, appropriately express themselves, and solve problems in a safe, supporting environment.

If you believe that your child needs special education services, do not let your pre-schooler’s disability get in the way of your expectations. Begin by contacting your local special education office and obtaining all the necessary papers. Then an admissions meeting will be held to determine if we are able to provide your child with special education services at TIELC. Pre-schoolers with special needs will begin at their own level with a plan that builds on their individual strengths and skills.  They will be taught by a certified specialist and, from time to time, interact with other children.

We offer the Preschool Program for Children with Disabilities (PPCD), however, each case will be considered on an individual basis. Also, the parents will be obligated to provide transportation to the centre and an assistant in case the child needs extra help.
