The Preschool is equipped with certified, safe and very comfortable beds for our little ones. During the nap time their teacher monitors them to ensure their safety.

Games

As Jan Amos Komensky wrote, “Much can be learned in play that will afterwards be of use.” Not only do games amuse the children but they also help stimulate their physical development as well as teach them important social skills. We use a wide range of toys for developing such skills as coordination and balance, fine motor skills, creativity, problem solving, senses and social learning.

Library

Our library is equipped with “reading cells” where children who seek some time on their own may enjoy silent reading in a cozy environment. Wide range of books in three languages (English, Czech and Russian) will evoke children’s interest in prose, poetry and drama and encourage them to read.

We use a wide range of toys for developing such skills as coordination and balance, fine motor skills, creativity, problem solving, senses and social learning.  Our free playing hours are designed to achieve the following:

  • To ensure children’s cognitive development and creativity and their discovery of the world
  • To help children understand the meaning of colors and sizes of objects
  • To develop children’s attention, perception, eye-hand coordination and certain mental functions
  • To teach children how to handle and resolve conflicts, respect the rights of others, learn their own rights and develop other important social skills.
